The London men were able to take over sole possession of 1st place in the Jones division with a solid 34-25 victory over Markham.
London was able to weather an early storm and capitalize when inside center Mike Davis was able to barrel over for a try putting London up 7-0 early. After London and Markham exchanged converted attempt at posts, hooker Steve Weber was able to find his way over the line putting London up 17-3. Markham was next on the board with a try but London quickly answered with a try by outside center Ryan Jenner putting London up 24-10 at the half.
Markham was able to score in the second half however London again responded with a try by winger Pat Bousfield, and after a successful dropgoal by Derek Daypuck sealed the victory.
The B side played a hard fought game but lost, however still remain in 2nd place in their division.
London next travels to Sarnia for 3 contests on August 15th
