London extended their winning streak and is now one game closer to the division title after a 55-7 win over Sarnia.
London came out strong with an early try to Fly Half Derek Daypuck, breaking thru some gaps. The pressure continued as 8 man Tommy Caldwell was able to score a couple of tries, one being a push over scrum from a strong London pack. As well prop Andrew McCubbin put on in before Sarnia was able to answer with a try of their own. Caldwell was able to score his 3rd try shortly after, and outside center Ryan Jenner was able to score London’s 6th try just before the half mark.
The hot day was started to take its toll but London continued to push the action as replacement outside center Andrew Howie was able to score, this was followed by tries by replacement prop Chris Racknor, and a nice kick and chase try by winger Brent Hodge. London was able to hold the Sarnia offence at bay in the second half.
London’s next game is this Saturday at home with a 4pm kick off against waterloo. With a victory London will clinch the division and advancement to the Marshall
